ButcherShop Creative led us on a thirst quenching quest of reintroducing Minott’s double hopped golden lager out of a short hibernation. We brewed and built a new hoppy home for Black Star Beer online… including a CMS, various online activations ranging from a tour of the original brewery, a convenient store locator, and even a sweepstakes that is known as “Maybe the Best Trip Ever”.

Working with Cassidy… we crafted an experience that mixes both visual branding as well as an easy-to-use interface that documents the robust career of the celebrity deejay on a multitude of devices. Reeeemix!

Out of London, Seeks Music is a homemade independent eclectic freeform internet radio station. It’s made by music creators, bloggers, promoters, and obsessives. We designed their site as well as created a platform to blast their speakers all over the internet.

One of our more challenging projects of 2010… We helped dress Latvia for the party @ World Expo 2010! Moving away from the old and worn-out traditional patterns of Latvia, we took a different look at the nation and ignited a new spirit of happiness into its identity.

Latvia – Technology of Happiness.

Instrumenti is a musical duo founded by boundless musicians – Shipsi and Reynsi. The duo uplifts pop-music, digs deep into blood-boiling electro beats, and melts hearts with dreamy love songs so eccentric… they’d even make Bjork wonder. We worked with them to create a small, but handy web presence that connects them with their fans all over the world.

In collaboration with creative director Armands Leitis, we spent months of sleepless nights designing the new weekly magazine “ir” (is). This entirely new experience made us fall in love with printed publications, but not without also adapting our designs for the ir.lv website!

Number 9 led us into a world of Sedans, CUV’s and Sport Hatches. They headed the design for this truly elegant online experience. We helped polish, buff and innovate portions of this shiny new paint job. The mechanics at KNI were originally under the hood and did amazing work! Lets just say that ultimately the client didn’t stick with the “Premium Package”.

Balta Nakts (The White Night) is an annual international contemporary culture and arts festival. It is a part of the international project White Nights Europe started by five European capitals – Brussels, Madrid, Paris, Riga and Rome. In 2009, it consisted of more than 20 different art, theater, music, motion and survival projects. In collaboration with illustrator Reinis Petersons, we designed and developed the official website, brochures, and other collateral.

A social platform that is not afraid of a little blood. We created an online community for HA magazine, a community that embraces horror in a fun, shit-your-pants kind of way!

Increase the size of your quake preparedness by 110%. ISH handled the design and we Interactified a site that teaches San Francisco what to do before, during, and after an earthquake.

Although we were not involved in the final design or output of this site, our friends at number 9 reached out and got us involved in some preliminary concepting for the new Luna Bar website. We worked with number 9 to offer an alternate visual direction for a preliminary presentation. Great work on the final product number 9!

Approached by the Latvian art directors club. We designed the 2009 ADWARDS collateral. Celebrating the best design and advertising in Latvia, the concept was focused on the idea of a little country having a great festival.

An interactive website for an architectural practice founded in Riga, Latvia. Designed to portray the philosophy of their works, putting emphasis on simplicity, clean forms and rich use of the medium.

To support the opening of a children’s room at the School of Business Administration “Turiba” we developed a playful identity package for “Kabatina” and provided guidelines for their overall image.

The goal of this project was to completely rebrand the company now know as “Bastions Security”. The tasks included developing a new brand name, corporate identity, website and promotional materials.

Combining vocation & experience, James Phillips directs voice castings, film dubbing, ADRs for feature films, and original voice soundtracks for animation films. He has become a signature voice in English, ranging from TV/Radio commercials to documentaries.

Satellites LV has always been one of our favorite bands. We were very excited to work on one of the designs for their new double album release! both album designs used drawings by Satellites LV member Edgars Zilde, in which we then interpreted in a multitude of ways.

A social project held in a basement dedicated to graffiti workshops. Besides teaching various street-art trends and techniques, Pagrafs is a place where young graffitist can get help with their struggles and understand that there is something more than just this life. We supported the project by creating their identity.

Introduced Parklife to a nice content management system. They now won’t stop posting great content. We also did the design, if you can notice it under all the great artists they feature.

Contributed animations for COG1 on Sprint’s PhoneIQ micro-site, outlining potential uses for their amazing new bar code scanning, phone technology.

CD packaging for the IVA debut release “Desert Gardens”. Finally, a successful attempt at improving our 3rd grade origami skills! The plain? “Deserted” sleeve makes way for the intricate “gardens” that unfold within. A big thanks to these guys for letting us create a design concept for the entire packaging and album. Die cuts, scoring, folding, oh my!

An adventure organization specializing in various activities ranging from surfing & snowboarding… to kayaking, climbing, and more. We designed a logo that would be easy to adjust and expand over time. The identity was based on a custom-made typeface, which we developed specially for this purpose. Luzumpunkts typeface can be used by itself or together with various symbols and illustrations thus forming an ever growing identity.

Facing new challenges on every step, we have guided Enter Living through the development of their corporate identity, built their website, and designed various other promotional materials.

We developed a handy little flash video player for WeGame’s handy little gaming video portal.

Design and animated the story of EventBrite’s 3 main tiers. The interactive scrubber allows to pause on your favorite parts. Eventbrite – Sell out!

Three Latvian indie bands (Tramplini, Mona De Bo and Anete) joined in for a small tour and we come up with a nice little poster to promote their shows.

Our aim designing the Zona logo was to use letterforms and play around with the type. We believe the final result is a wordmark that sends a strong message, yet is clean and simple at its core.
